This is the heart of Live Oak. Here you get to know our family and experience church at a new level. Just get plugged in by finding a meeting time and place that is convenient to you!
Our small groups are really jammin' and offering lots of good, good stuff. Below is a quick overview of what's packed in to the next couple of months before we move in to the holiday season (can you believe it???) All of these groups have an "open chair" policy and welcome newcomers anytime (except when the study has already progressed too far for someone new to "catch up"!). Sooooo, check these out......
Currently available studies / small groups......
Sundays:
Starting 9/27/09......"Fearless", a 6-week study by Max Lucado. This group meets at 3:00 PM at the church and is facilitated by Campbell Thames. Child care is provided.
Starting 10/4/09..."One in a Million - journey to your promised land", a 6-week study by Priscilla Shirer. This group meets at 4:00 PM at the home of Diane Yarbrough. This group is limited to 8 participants, so advance registration with Diane is needed. New participants will not be added after the 10/11 session.
Tuesdays:
Starting 10/6/09..."One in a Million - journey to your promised land", a 6-week study by Priscilla Shirer. This group meets at 9:00 AM at the home of Sherrian Hooks. This group is limited to 6 participants, so advance registration with Sherrian is needed. New participants will not be added after the 10/13 session.
Thursdays:
"Ten Dumb Things Smart Christians Believe", a 10-week study by Larry Osborne is in its 3rd week. This group meets at 7:00 PM at the home of Lyn Aiken. Each session of this study stands alone and new participants are welcome to join this group at any time.
"Doing Life Together", a series of 6-week studies comprising a year-long journey, by Brett Eastman and other writers. This group meets at 7:00 PM and rotates between the homes of group members. This study is facilitated by Tina Hagan-Dora.
